Our Insulin Plant leaves are harvested on the slopes of the Western Ghatts in Southern India. Small family farms naturally grow this plant in abundance in order to provide for their own wellness as well as share it with the world.
Solar Dried
The Insulin Plant leaves that we harvest, are gathered as soon as they are harvested and rushed down the mountain to our solar drier. The leaves are washed and then dried in a convective greenhouse under carefully controlled temperatures. This ensures that valuable phytonutrients are preserved for optimal quality. Once properly dried, the leaves are powdered and packaged in our GMP approved facility.
